Brighton Panorama

I have always been influenced by my surroundings, but after living in Brighton for many years last year I drew it for the first time.

The opportunity came with a commission for the Level Park regeneration project, where my drawings are cast in concrete and now sit in the center of the Upper Lawns on The Level.

The trees that are scattered through the drawing are our precious Brighton Elm collection. There are many more scenes that make up the final piece in the park…this composition just pulls together a few of my favorite buildings.

The drawings were also shortlisted for the Association of Illustrators Prize last yea
