Norfolk Hotel Brighton

Built as the Norfolk Arms in 1824, it was completely rebuilt in a Renaissance style by Horatio Goulty in 1864-66. This beautiful hotel has been recently rebranded and been given a beautiful new face lift by @helenhooperinteriors. Helen asked me to come in and create some wall panels that are now installed on the foyer staircase and the entrance stairs to the Ballroom. There are also prints in sixteen of the newly decorated bedrooms.

Wall panels designed to fit into existing beaded recesses, reflectiong Brighton, my fantasy gardens including a nod to the royal pavilion and my love of cinema with the reference to the film ‘In The Mood For Love’……. Did you know that Brighton had one of the very first film studio in the world and it was in St. Anneswell’s Park!
