Details

Printed on Hahnemühle Photo Rag a white cotton artist paper known for its soft, luxurious feel and lightly textured surface. This subtle texture gives artwork a sense of depth and dimension, making prints look rich and detailed.

It's acid- and lignin-free, conforming to ISO 9706 standards—so it's built to last and ideal for archival, museum-quality prints. Printed locally and hand finished in Sarahs Brighton Studio with 24ct burnished gold leaf. Sarah uses traditional gold leafing techniques, each dot of gold hand applied, meaning no two are the same.

FRAMING
Available for delivery in the UK only. Prints are float mounted which raises artwork above the mount, creating a gallery effect. We use museum grade perspex not glass. If you are ordering a frame you will be contacted by email to double check your order.

The Story behind

I’m thrilled to announce my new limited edition hand-drawn prints, The Divers collection. This series reimagines the classical mythological Three Graces, traditionally symbols of joy, beauty, and happiness, who served as role models for young women. In my version, these figures are not just graceful but inspired by strength, power, and freedom.

Rather than focusing solely on grace and elegance, I wanted to give these figures a new kind of freedom—one that emphasises strength, movement, and liberation. In The Divers, the Graces are reimagined as active, dynamic beings, embracing athleticism and energy, embodying a celebration of physical expression.

The idea for this collection has been brewing for quite some time, but it fully came together during my visit to Sicily this year. While walking through the awe-inspiring Greek ruins, I began to see how I could reinterpret traditional Greek imagery in a new light. Instead of classic iconography, I chose to incorporate the mismatched, chaotic beauty of the piggy seaside holiday houses and the jagged rocks of Sampiere and Ortiga. This backdrop adds a unique, vibrant energy to the figures and their movements.

The poses of the divers are translated into Italian: Straight – Dritto, Pike – Liccio, Free – Libera, each capturing a sense of liberation and physical power, aligning with my vision of their strength and freedom.
